Mountain cedar season didn’t wait around this year. It’s already arrived in San Antonio and the Hill Country – earlier than usual.

The cedar count was already registering as “high” on Tuesday. According to San Antonio allergist Dr. Paul Ratner, this is the third earlier arrival for mountain cedar since they’ve started keeping records of it in 1984. Dr. Ratner also said only two earlier arrivals each resulted in longer-than-average cedar seasons. So there’s that to look forward to.
