It’s not often you see home thermostats headlining tech conferences. But that’s what happens when the guy who designed the iPod breaks into the thermostat business.
Tony Fadell spoke at GigaOM Roadmap yesterday – showcasing his newest product: the Nest Thermostat. As we shared a few weeks ago, the Nest appears to Apple-fy your home’s heating and air conditioning system.
The Nest sold out in 72 hours, so there is definitely demand. It will be interesting to see if that demand holds up.
