I don’t know what your yard looks like, but I know it’s about time to break out the lawnmower for the first time this spring. If you’re in the market for a new lawnmower, you’re in luck. CPS Energy is promoting its new “Mow Down Smog” rebate program.
According to CPS Energy, a typical gas lawnmower pollutes as much in one hour as driving a car 110 miles. So if you buy a new electric-powered lawnmower or lawn equipment, like electric edgers, trimmers or blowers, you can get up to $60 back in rebates on your electric bill.
You can find the rebate application on the CPS Energy website or call 210.353.2551 for more information.
