The Champion Training Academy is San Antonio’s proving ground for the next generation of HVAC talent, built to take motivated beginners with zero industry experience and turn them into technicians who can step into a home and get the job done right.
What the Program Covers
Our training program pairs classroom fundamentals with real hands-on repetition. Students start with the basics: how HVAC systems work, core electrical concepts, refrigeration principles, and the safety habits that protect them and every homeowner they’ll serve. From there, the focus shifts to diagnostics, troubleshooting, airflow, and the finer points of system performance.
By graduation, every student can run a maintenance call independently, spot common system problems, and explain what they found to a customer in plain language, all with the professionalism Champion is known for.
