At long last, the mystery is finally over. Rick Dyer, a San Antonio man, has killed Bigfoot. Believe it or not, there are people out there, including Dyer, who believe this to be true. And if they don’t believe it to be true, they at least enjoy taking part in the hoax.
Over the years, Dyer has made a name for himself by operating the website BigfootTracker.com. Even more so, he actually makes his living tracking the creature. Here is what Dyer had to say to MySanAntonio.com in a recent interview:
“Bigfoot is 100 percent real. There’s no question about that. I’m going to go down in history as the best Bigfoot tracker in the world.”
It is hard to argue with a guy who is so confident that what he is doing will eventually payoff. Despite the fact that some people claim to be Bigfoot tracking specialists, there are not many that put as much time and effort into it as Dyer.
Over the past few years, he has taken part in nearly 100 expeditions all over the United States as well as other parts of the world including China, Mexico, and Russia.
After claiming to see a Bigfoot in 2009 off of Loop 1604 near Highway 151, Dyer has been living in San Antonio with hopes of another encounter. Recently, he got that chance. Here is what he had to say about the run-in:
“I nailed … pork ribs from the WalMart down the street to the side of the tree, and low and behold, he came and started eating the pork ribs off the tree.”

When the creature returned to the site, Dyer had more than a cell phone camera waiting. He claims he shot the Bigfoot and moved its body to a location outside Las Vegas. Why hasn’t he made the body public just yet? He says that a contractual agreement with a documentary company will not allow him to do so just yet. But don’t worry, the big day is coming.
“Once this film comes out in late March or early April, then we’re going to start releasing photos and then eventually the body. Investors have paid for all the necessary testing to prove that this is an unknown creature and not a man in a suit or a caveman or something. This is a Bigfoot.”
