I want to take a few seconds here to write a little thank you letter to the people of San Antonio. Our city has earned a reputation of being one of the kindest and most generous in the entire country, and I got to witness that generosity first-hand last week.
Between your phone donations and last Thursday’s Fans 4 SA fan drive, you helped collect more than 1,100 fans that will go to families living without air conditioning. Family Service Association will distribute the fans to people who need them.
The generous hearts of people in San Antonio never fail to amaze me.
Summer officially starts tomorrow, but San Antonio has already seen many, many days with triple-digit temperatures. In fact, we’ve been above 100 degrees for six straight days now – so this truly is a life or death mission. Champion AC was more than honored to sponsor the Fans 4 SA event, and I again want to thank everyone who donated, along with Family Service Association and News 4 WOAI for the help and support.
