Get ready, San Antonio. Our roller coaster ride with the weather is taking another bumpy twist this week.
First the good news, there’s a pretty good chance of rain over the next 24 hours. I know our crews have already reported on and off rain this afternoon as they’re driving from service calls. According to KSAT-TV, we could see some heavy storms tonight and tomorrow morning.
All this is because of another cold front moving through our area. The front should be here by tomorrow (Tuesday), and it’s going to drop our high temperatures by about 15 degrees (to the mid 60s) and our low temperatures by 30 degrees or so (they’re forecasting a low of 35 on Veterans Day this Friday).
So if you lasted the first round of cold weather without turning on your San Antonio heating system, now is a perfect time to get a fall tune-up. The cold fronts are starting to arrive closer and closer to one another, so it won’t be too long before our weather is consistently cool during the day and cold at night – so you want your heater to be prepared!
